None of the RM reps will be close to gen. It's a matter of tolerance; which flaws you can live with and which ones you can't.
Of course. As with any rep, really. The current iterations are just not up to par for me yet, but I see potential. Will keep monitoring.

I have the 035 otw. I'd say the 035 and 055 are very good enough for now in terms of RM reps. Expecting more is a bit wishful thinking. I don't think this maker will make any V2 of their RM, at least in the foreseeable future.

I have to disagree on this . the RM 35 has all the potential to become a super rep . movement is looking good and some plates can be added to give more gen look . Blue AR is something factories can always do. putting a movement on a 13.8 mm thick watch can be done and movements exists for this . Forged carbon is something that factories are working now long time .. titanium screws can be done ! everything about RM 35 is technology already factories been using . what i dont see in all this scenario is serious factories being involved yet ... oh and just to close this the Strap ! red fabric and good to go ...
my faith to be honest is more one guys like wooky492 for this RM than factories ...but yes it can be done at least in my eyes !

I would never say no to anything, but most RM mod would require more dedication and resources pouring in then any AP mod. My FC GP mod project has doubled our initial projected budget and tripled the time..... which prevented from buying even a single rep that i wanted from M2M sales or from TD.... ;-(
This hobby has become more of a job then hobby ....
But I do agree with you on the availability of the tech and resources to pull it off.
In the case of 035, we could probably shave off the case by removing unnecessary movement parts such as rotor. Rework the dial structure to give it more crisp and expensive look.Change the hands to gen spec, and then slap on custom straps. I think that would be good enough and much better than the current offerings from TD. ;-D
Is it possible that Puretime in cooperation with the factories indeed does develop a better version of the rep
