Hey MasterW. The balance wheel in place of the tourbillon is a functional. You can see it in action but a bit small. I'll try to video it when I canLooks awesome!!
Is the faux tourbillion a functional balance wheel or just stationary decoration.
A Video would be awesome.
Also if you could PM me the source it will be appreciated.

A lot of dealers have watches on consignment from owners and also they borrow watches and put on instagram to gain exposures to their account and create a following, imagine the watches are like hot potatoes. I was in Hatton Garden a few days ago, a lady walked in to the shop and asked the owner to give her watches so she can put it on her instagram, is all a bit grey....Someone tell me if my theory is off track:
I'm noticing an increase of Instagram posts belonging to jewelers claiming to buy and sell high end watches, to include various RM Models. Understanding, RM pieces are produced in VERY limited quantities; depending on the model some more than others.
My theory is somehow these jewelers are dealing in one-off replicas. Just by the number of posts I'm seeing, it's becoming harder and harder to believe they're dealings in gens. Now, that's not to say that some, if not many, are gen. But honestly! All these so called jewelers happen to get their hand on Richard Mille's. Just not buying it. I maybe wrong and it wouldn't be the first time.
So, assuming my theory is correct. Where are they getting their pieces from? Who's building them?
