Members, while this has been said for years, it begs to be refreshed.

RWI fully recommends that you DO NOT SEND YOUR WATCHES BACK TO A TD.

If your watch is broken, the wrong watch, or anything, I suggest the following:

  1. If it is broken, we have a whole section of trusted Watchmakers section here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/forums/watchmakers-and-horologists.238/
  2. If it is broken, ask your TD if they have a watchmaker in your area or somewhere that is not in China. Some of our TD's have partners in EU and US.
  3. If it is the wrong watch, sell it on the M2M to recoup your funds. There is a huge chance that the watch you got is a watch someone else is searching for.
  4. Ask your TD for a discount or credit on your next order.
We must understand that TD's are taking enough risks shipping the watch to us. These are counterfeit items that are illegal in China. Most possibly, the return shipping could heighten the risk on their end and your watch could be lost. It could also take months for them to finally get your watch.

I understand the human aspect of this whole situation you might be in. You might be new to the rep world and you're fucking excited to get a rep to show off to your watch to your social circle, maybe its a mental fable too. Could be a societal and mental fable you've concocted and you feel powerless about making it a reality now.

But, like with anything in life, you MUST take a step back and re-think these situations. The only thing RWI asks you is to read and ask questions. We have tons of data in here that can answer your questions, if you don't find an answer? ASK.

jetspeed out.

Agree it makes sense about not returning it to the TD in China.

I had no idea about this! One of my favourite TDs asked to have the item returned (after trying local repair in the UK didn't work), needless to say after months it still didn't make it back to the TD

Thankfully they were gracious enough to send another piece out! Was my first experience and would recommend anyone else to try and find other remedial methods! Shipping reps back to china is a minefield!
out of curiosity could you please share the name of your TD which sent you another watch in return for the watch who was lost on the way back from China? thank you!

Unfortunately for me, my fifth watch from InTime06.co this year did not arrived in working condition.

I was amazed by the qualities of the previous watches ordered from my TD... with one model of Rolex I even went out swimming in the sea and everything was great, full reserve of 72hrs.. but my last Pepsi model V3 from CF was not moving neither by manual winding or hand movement but instead of trying to find a watchman I preferred to send it back to China as instructed by my TD.. It should have been back to me now but the watch I presume it didn't even passed the Chinese imports customs.

My TD told me to be pacient any wait up to 3 months to wait for the watch because they will return the package back to me but what if the package was seized by customs? Would the TD be responsible for that? And would he send me another watch in return ? What do you think?

Never return the watch to China. I always have the watch repaired on my own. I consider the cost as part of buying Reps. You only have to find a watch maker the will repair reps. If you have trouble dealing with it. Buy Gens. Also it takes months to have the watch repaired if they have to source parts. Usually it only involves cleaning.

So today I received the Omega Aqua Terra world timer that I sent back to China 8 months ago!! I had given up on ever seeing it again…..there was a sticker that said it had been opened by Chinese customs. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the package on my desk! But I still say don’t return any watch to China…I consider myself very lucky!
