The thing is that my trusted dealer, InTime06, arranged for another shipment for me when my Omega 007 VSF edition was seized by the German customs... But when my Rolex GMT2 arrived (with mechanical faults) I've sent it back to China, exactly how InTime06 instructed me to do so. The thing is, that according to the Global Track & Trace, the shipment-import has been terminated (status cancelled) since 6th of December , and I do not know now, If I will see the watch back again or the Chinese customs seized and destroyed? And if so, will my TD be so kind enough to send me another shipment on his expense?

If the watch gets seized when YOU ship it back then the TD will NOT send you another watch at their expense (you take the risk). If the watch would have been seized coming into your country then the TD would ship you another watch at their expense.

So, I was lucky enough to find out now that the watch (as it arrived), left now GuangZhou and last city passed was Shanghai... I'm now thinking, if when its going to be in my possession again should I take it to a high end dealer (where they sell second hand Rolexes) and ask for a watch service or should I go to the watch smith that sells also replicas to do a full service, repair on it? :)

Members, while this has been said for years, it begs to be refreshed.

RWI fully recommends that you DO NOT SEND YOUR WATCHES BACK TO A TD.

If your watch is broken, the wrong watch, or anything, I suggest the following:

  1. If it is broken, we have a whole section of trusted Watchmakers section here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/forums/watchmakers-and-horologists.238/
  2. If it is broken, ask your TD if they have a watchmaker in your area or somewhere that is not in China. Some of our TD's have partners in EU and US.
  3. If it is the wrong watch, sell it on the M2M to recoup your funds. There is a huge chance that the watch you got is a watch someone else is searching for.
  4. Ask your TD for a discount or credit on your next order.
We must understand that TD's are taking enough risks shipping the watch to us. These are counterfeit items that are illegal in China. Most possibly, the return shipping could heighten the risk on their end and your watch could be lost. It could also take months for them to finally get your watch.

I understand the human aspect of this whole situation you might be in. You might be new to the rep world and you're fucking excited to get a rep to show off to your watch to your social circle, maybe its a mental fable too. Could be a societal and mental fable you've concocted and you feel powerless about making it a reality now.

But, like with anything in life, you MUST take a step back and re-think these situations. The only thing RWI asks you is to read and ask questions. We have tons of data in here that can answer your questions, if you don't find an answer? ASK.

Yes…may bring to local watchmaker
But when they returned your watch you didn't had to show the people at the customs an invoice or any other document to justify the value of the imported good for to pay the import taxes? Just asking, because my watch just returned the previous day to my home country and now they want to see the invoice or any other proof for the tax value - watch toy for repair - 10$

That’s a bummer. Your watch is seized. If I were you, I probably wouldn’t respond.

One other shitty case scenario, your watch arrives in short time in China but they do not pick up the package from the customs, then the Chinese ships the package back, return it back to you, and when it finally, after many months of waiting it has finally arrived in your country, then your national customs are asking you for the invoice of the watch, package :))

Theoretically, I think they should not open my package but if I do not show them any invoice or documentation about what it is in the package then they can not settle the import taxes so therefore I do not have any "10$ toy watch for repair" invoice for to show them :)) I think it should be best not to answer them...

I can't believe how lucky I am. Not only that the watch "passed" all customs, Chinese and Romanian back but when I opened the package today, it seems that the gears of the watch are again put in motion and my watch now works perfectly, after a long 8 months of transiting half globe .... So it seems the watch only needed some serious "shaking" for it to work again :))

I bought several watches from a dealer. When one of the watches had problems, they asked me to return it for repair. I sent it back to their address. Oh my god, they actually received it and repaired it and sent it to me very quickly. I am so lucky.

Hello I got to give some credit to @trustytime here . I had ordered a 16710 BPF with vr3186 from him . He send me qc picks all looked great and I gave GL ( i didn't ask for a video since all my previous orders from him were spot on). When the watch arrive and I check it i concluded it was a BPF 16710 but with the wrong movement , I contacted him with photo and video evidence. He responded very quick and very polite and he inform me that he will speak with his guys to see what happen and let me know . He came back 2 days after and inform me that he will send me a new bpf 16710 with the correct movement. He gave me clear instructions on how send back to him the wrong one . The morning I went send him the wrong one back he inform me with the new watches tracking number and I did inform him back with the returned watch track number . The new watch arrive and it was spot on ( i forgot to mention that when the wrong watch arrive I didn't like the bezel color so I ask him if a different bezel color was an option and he make the change for me ). The watch is send back it took some time almost a month to get to him with the route he instructed, I was checking every 3 days when it would arrive and the day it arrive he inform that he received the watch and he credit for my next purchase the amount I pay for shipping the watch to him . I can only say he is MORE than professional to my eyes and I recommend him !
