I think it's my fault. I spent my whole day off Monday taking pictures of all the great watches I've bought since joining RWG a few weeks ago. I tried to login Monday night to post them all and the site has been down ever since. I now have one post on RWI.

How long do these crazy attacks generally go on for? Is there no way to block em? Bigger question is, what if this crazy guy comes back after us once we r back up again... can we not mitigate this in the future?

The way this crap works, is that there may be reasonable steps that Greg can take to help prevent this type of attack in the future. I say "may be" because it depends on the nature of the attack.

And, sorry to say, there is nothing to stop the idiot who did this from doing it again next month, week, year, etc. They can attack in different ways. Corporations spend MILLIONS of dollars (pounds, etc.) dealing with this nonsense every day. I am sure that Greg and the team will take every step they can, but nothing is 100% foolproof.

The hosting company have been completely f*cking superb. However, this isn't a DDoS in the conventional sense, so it's not really causing problems for anyone but us at the moment...
