Major agreement.
Didn't mean to come off harsh, as I just read my post. But Rolex, like any other company, cannot make EVERYONE happy.
Understood,
I didn't really take it that you meant it that way.

My research is.. 25 or so yrs of owning gens and loving watches!
I do not think rolex are godlike perfection and immune to human error.
All I am saying is something like a crooked pearl is really doubtful in my opinion. So many checks and balances at a place like the rolex factory, from the guy that made the insert, to the guy that installed it, to the guy that installs the bracelet, and to QC... and then on to AD's..someone somewhere would spot it early on before the consumer saw it....but I concede miracles happen..never say never..etc.
I think maybe a guy reads that on a forum.. and then sometime later parrots it somewhere else as fact..Of course tiny flaws could happen when humans are involved.. by the sheer numbers of watches alone!
I just have never seen in person.. or even pictures of a major flaw. Something like a poor endlink fit..yes...a crooked pearl..no, not on a 10k watch.
In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine buying a brand new Sea Dweller, taking it over to a friends house..and him spotting it and saying "hey.. look at that pearl! it's crooked just like my rep!"
On something only a wus can find and measure sure..you are correct! You can't please everyone!
