Just pulled the trigger on the BP 3186 version earlier today $328.

Couldn't justify the price difference of the GMF 3186 at $458 for 904?.

They look like they have decent Bezel color transition which i think is the biggest issue with a lot of the bi-color GMT's and the bezel engraving and fill looks good.
The SEL's look really good actually when you consider how hard it is to get a Noob Roly with correct recess.

I hope the date font is still pretty close and i will be happy.


Nice to see some makers not taking the P*ss with their pricing.

You do know that's an ETA 2824 with fake engravings, right? Also known as the timebomb movement.

Read up on how to set it of you don't already know. Best advice is after setting your desired GMT and hour hand offset, don't ever use crown position 2 again. Put it on a winder and change the date using crown position 3.

Thanks @KJ2020 for the warning.

I had already read up on the 'timebomb' characteristics of the movement, but thought i would at least own one of these and see how long before i broke it.

Think i read one of your posts saying it could be replaced with a 2824 or 2836 and new handset and gasket, so will consider this if it goes 'pop'.

316L. You can't tell the difference on the wrist or in the hand for that matter
