looks beautiful. i'm falling for the ever rose but does anyone knows how long will the plating last?
i wouldn't want my watch to become like a leopard in a few months with patches of missing rose gold

I'm currently waiting for QC pics for the two-tone rootbeer. It's tricky because it seems like everyone wants the pepsi, so there isn't a ton of info on the insert or durability of the plating for the rootbeer. There's things you can do to increase the life of the plating if you search around the forum. My thought is that if it starts getting shitty I can always have it replated. I think it's a super cool watch, so I'm just excited to wear it.

Got my QC tonight. Watch looks great, but no movement pics or crown function video, so will wait for that before GL.

Received my QC pics from Andrew (Trusty) today and they look good. Quick response and good communication from Andrew who confirmed that all new GMF models have VR movements. Will post some pics when it arrives.

I recently had a QC that I declined due to not having VR. You're gonna want to confirm that.

Dealer opened the caseback and confirmed that it was the SA

My new GM GMT have some heft to it. We are now only 10 grams off from GEN! With an oiled bracelet and this weight it’s hard to call this out.

I don't think enough folks talk about the CHNR either. Ordered this from Hont for $548. Looks excellent to me. Not sure if the sides are plated but will send tonnes of on hand images when received. Can't stand the CF milky crystal so this will do beautifully. Took a while to get the VR version since they'd been pushing the A3235 lol. Big thanks to big bro KJ2020 for informing folks.

Looks absolutely great to me. I put mine on leather, which may be blasphemy to some, but now I don't have to worry about the plating (as much), and I actually use it when traveling between time zones, and it's kinda blingy with bracelet. I think the leather made it look kinda rugged.

Fantastic advice! Love the versatility of being able to travel and use the watch as intended. Plated parts wear away with skin acids, so wearing on leather (deployant?) is ideal. Where did you get your strap from? Shots would be awesome. Thanks for the vote of confidence on my CHNR. GL'd already before posting but nice to get a little boost too.
