How to identify a plated or wrapped gold one? We have one by GMF at home as for the price I'd think it is wrapped.

Easy, the plated one has bare sel sides the wrapped one does not. Plus the wrapped one is $968.

No it is not.

Plated = silver SEL sides
Wrapped = RG SEL sides

I don’t think I can justify 1k for wrapped version which is exactly the same watch except it’s a wrapped.
id rather buy noob wrapped bluesy.

Price is subjective here. How common is it to start out with a $500 watch and end up with it well over a grand or $1500? You’re about $300 ish dollars from a wrapped 116613LB with this GMT, but none of the other problems. No blue dial to wonder if another one could be better, and this bezel insert looks very good ootb. The 116613LB bezel inserts aren’t that great in my opinion. (That’s why I spent the money and found a gen one) I’d guess other than a gen crystal this $968 wrapped version could be cheaper (depending on how you look at it) in the long run because it needs less modding and work. And that my friends is how you mindfuck yourself into spending more money on a fake Rolex. I’m here to help....

Damn, I think I will get platted version. I was just looking at my Rolex subs and those SEL sides are so freaking small it’s hard to see them.

Im wondering how noticeable are those bare sel sides when on the wrist. I don’t think there should be that much contrast between RG and SS so it won’t stand out.

Ok, on the SEL there are two little side on the link where RG is missing.

I would like to see photos about the central link on the bracelet, to understand if missing RG sides on central links are visible when bracelet in on wrist and when isn't on wrist.

Someone can satisfy my cusiosity ?
