Not to scare you but I'd be interested to know whether your crystal sits correctly. Mine is like .5mm above the bezel on one side.

Post a dead on shot of the dial, see if they got new ones without the slanted printing on the dial.

I myself am currently engaged in an e-mail exchange with (the charming) Helina from Eurotimez also about a DSSD V5, still trying to decide whether to get the DG2813 (USD148) version of the copy ETA (USD298) version... Not sure if for me the copy ETA movement justifies double the price.
Which one did you go for?

I am a bit confused... Is EuroTimez.com an approved dealer? Didnt find him in the list (http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/latest-rwi-dealers-ratings-and-43088)

Correct, Eurotimez is not on the trusted dealers list. However, I have encountered numerous positive posts about them on RWI.
If the honest and informative e-mail correspondence is any indication, it is my opinion that they should be on the Trusted Dealer list.
But mind you, I have not purchased from them yet... (But am about to!)

I went for the Asian copy ETA at $298....I know its a bit pricey, but atleast I held off on getting the "Gen" Swiss ETA movement!
It probably wouldn't have been Swiss anyway!

I just pulled the trigger on the DG4813 movement, which is also a 28.8k movement like the copy ETA... This one costs $178 (+ $30 to the DG2813) but I really wanted the smooth sweeping second hand. According to Helina from ET the copy ETA is the better movement, but to me it was not worth the extra $120.
Just e-mailed them that I'm ready to order... I can't wait for them to reply!

i assume nowadays regardless of movt u choose, the cases are the same, as in jimbs thread

I wanted to buy this watch from a trusted dealer here but you've touched on a valid point.......there are so many versions of this watch that it's difficult to make a decision as to which one to buy!
For all we know, the version offered by WatchEden for example maybe just as good as Eurotimez...or even better!

Well they have my watch, but there is a QC issue as the photos reveal a defect with the case back.....where it says 3900m, the 3 and 9 look like it's been scribbled in felt tip.
Have emailed to ask if they can replace the caseback before sending out.
They unfortuntely haven't emailed back for nearly 2 days so I'm not happy at the moment.....

Are you getting the current V5, or waiting for the new DeepSea prototype they're coming out with?
(just found this on their page a few days ago)
Appears to be true-to-form gen-like construction on the bezel & inner rings--better than anything I've seen so far. Crystal looks more like gen/V3, case-back shape is 100% accurate on both counts, crowns & tubes look good, case construction looks good, now all that's left to judge for how much of an improvement will be made over previous releases will be the HEV, the dial, and the SEL/lug fit (which should be fine considering the only one they really screwed up on was the V4's SELs).
I'm dying to see this completed ASAP... I need a new piece.

They even write on the website "same as reviewed by gioarmani". So THAT is not the new project? I am utterly confused - and mad that I just bought a DSSD a few weeks ago ...

Thanks for this heads up. If this is true, then this will be the one to get hands down. I've got my fingers crossed that finally someone will have a decent rep of the DSSD!!!!!!!!!!! I looked on their site but couldn't find this info. I guess I need to log in and see if I can find it that way. I'm really excited about this news!
Edit: Signed in and see it now- described as the New V5 Should call it either the V5.1 or V6

Hopefully I can get them to switch the order to this one since I haven't taken delivery yet
