Rolex Day-Date I & II / Datejust I & II

thanks for the info. i just saw some pics online of a rolex date (no day-date or dayjust). it is made of stainless steel with silverish dial and sticks instead of numbers. it doesn't have that outer numbered circle on the dial (if that makes any sense). have any of you seen that watch in a replica site? thanks so much in advance.
I'm with Aphastus - this one is a beauty and very similar to the Air King 5700 which is another grail watch for me. Very hard to find these types of vintage R's repped through the usual TDs. is that because there isn't much demand for them?

Where can I get those clasic rolex? I mean not the genuine one...someone get me a rep.
Everyone wants to know where to get a DJ1 (36mm) rep. You're not allowed to ask about it here though. Lest you be scolded for not using the search function. All the threads there are several years old, the information is greatly appreciated, but it's just not relevant anymore with all the new factories and models out. I would say your best bet is to contact a TD. Or switch your desires to a SUB or DSSD. You'll find several hundred threads about those models.
Contact the TD, and ask about current DJ1 models that are available.
No, I'm not bitter. I've just asked about these models before after not finding anything in hours of searching/reading and I was told to use the search function. :bang:
If anyone can find a list of newer DJ's that are out right now (already listed on RWI, from BEFORE today) Shoot. I'll make you a horween strap for free.
PLEASE RWI ELDERS! Allow new threads about the lesser known models! There isn't any info about newer models of DJ1, Oyster, Airking etc. It's so frustrating when EVERY question about these models is dismissed and the person asking is told to go use the search function. And thanks for doing all you do. Defending our freedoms here at RWI.

Can u tell me something about this Datejust? The seller says it was modded by "mymanmatt". The dial, hands, date plate, tubus and crown are gen. Can that be right? And do u know the reference number?

I've seen MMM's work and it's top notch. However, if you're not in the market for a $6-900 franken, you're out of luck I guess. I've just ordered a 36mm DJ1 from Sead. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Second, I like this TD you're working with.
Now, I didn't see a problem with the cyclops. The font on the DW looks good (a prob I had on my DDII.) Build quality looks ok from the pics.
I'm curious about your goal style-wise: are you the type of baller who usually rolls around all iced-out? If so, I think it's a pretty elegant looking choice in that context. If however, you dress kinda normal, this watch screams 'hey look at my fun fake Rolex'.
