That looks like a G Series. BUT they do have random letters/numbers as well (as of last year I believe, and the G series is this years)

I really wish they come out with this watch in super-rep form!

The G-serials came right after the V-serials. then they started using the random SN system, which consists in randomically mixing letters and numbers.

The REP Explorer II 42mm that the cartel is announcing has a case with G-serial engraved... I guess soon some more reps will be having them added.
If new reps had the random serial engraved too, that would be a nice touch and also one less tell, IMHO...

All I need is a no-date dial, and I'm building myself one of these... just decided. Was saving the parts for another super sub-C build but this way I don't have to worry about AR'ed cyclops, and I love how clean the dial looks.

I have a couple of dials with thin surround maxi markers, that's what'll go on there.

Someone pointed out that the old no date dials (the rep ones anyway) all seem to be non-COSC, I might have to wait for the factories to produce one. Oh well.

They'll probably make it with a really crappy pearl and a re-haut that says "RELAX-RELAX, RELAX". Then they'll ask 400 bucks for it and we will have to wait for a V2 that only some dealers may carry and then so we'll have to mod it, etc. etc. etc.

I was referring to the noob one which in all honesty is pretty good. I suspect if they do a new model without the date window, the hands may finally be corrected. The you tube version was great except the lume was green, so they would probably get that color right since they guessed wrong on the lume color from the beginning and never bothered to change it. The big tells on the noob.....
pearl - will always be an issue with any rep
ARless cyclops - GONE
date font - gone
misaligned date window - gone
misaligned numbers - gone
wrong hands - who knows?
misaligned rehaut - who cares if they can fix the hand and lose the window really ?
