Im definitely with you that the gen is in a different league. But considering the single tourby rep us less than 1% of the price of the gen, i think its pretty great value. Have you seen the new v3?

Yeah you’ll never see a gen in the wild. Or a rep for that matter! Since getting the v3 i updated this review to a 3 way comparison. See here:

Box is gen. strap i got from orloff. Pm me if you want his email but he needs the rep strap to make the new one. It has plastic inserts that need to be reused.

Wearing the BBR for about 3 weeks now and this morning I woke up with a horrible rash on the inside of my wrist... Unfortunately I do have a nickel allergy. Never had it before because of a watch.
But I'm afraid the deployant clasp from the original strap is the culprit...
I'm in serious doubt what to do now. I may need to get rid of the original clasp, but I don't have any idea if similar replacements are available and of course they will have to be nickel free as well.
Probably somebody over here has some good tips?

Thats a tough break mate. I guess the only options are get a different clasp or get the rose gold version.
