Our chinese friends are "cooking" another one..

I am just sharing the one and only photo that I have - please don't ask me for more details cause I know nothing! If and when I will know, I'll share more about it..

Anyone but me think it would be great if they used Terra Cotta soldier styled figurines? I mean this is a homage, not a rep, so it would be a nice cultural touch.

Plus, they aren't getting close to the level of detail of the RD figurines anyways, so might as well change it up a little.

On a side note, why aren't they getting good detail out of the figurines? Couldn't they cast the base shape, then finish it on a CNC machine?

@Eagl3 not a hommage (the one I posted) but I am not sure if that version was ever released for the market or if it was a prototype. Anyhow, there will be the writings (see inner bezel on the upper side - it says RD)..

If you were talking about the hommage piece than this was done only as a limited run as a project of a group of chinese members involved in replica hobby (if I am not mistaken)..

This were not supposed to be terracotta warriors, might be a future LE for the asian market..I am sure asian collectors would buy such a watch..

Hell yeah!!! This is what I have been waiting. I have seen some pictures today but from a non forum dealer. Since I was busy forgot to send him a msg. Great to see that it has been released..

It says seagull tourbillon movement. Must be a mistake, I doubt they would put inside such an expensive mvt without actually havving the opportunity to see the tourbillon working

Why.... Are they using a Chinese handwind TOURBILION movement .... On a completely closed front and back watch :/

A regular more reliable movement woulda been better

It must be a mistake as @dadog13 says, surley the bulk of the cost of this piece comes from the small figurines etc. Most tourbillon movement watches cost a few hundred dollars more. Absolutely quality though im definitely going to get one of these order up :)

My guess would be that it's most probably a mistake, considering a seagull tourbillion is gonna cost much more than $508.

Come on, you should have known that will never be possible.
:hehehe:

Is this a real deal? I saw someone sell it with almost 1000$ and about to place the order... And this guy have the enamel version as well in his WeChat list

Did anyone ordered from the dealer?

It's on intime so I'm not doubting anything. Personally, I'm holding back due to the figurines being waaaay too golden. But heck, it's still a beaut.

I sent a mail to ask... I probably prefer to buy the gold version with enamel(I saw the video elsewhere) but I agreed that's a beauty...

I'm sure that it's not a tourby. It also seems like it would be thicker than the 15.7 mm stated by Ryan.
Cool watch though. Definitely worth considering.

Ryan just replied and confirmed that the size spec is correct and IN STOCK!
