I think it’s about as good as you can get without resorting to making a clone movement
But yeah, definitely way too overpriced. Should be max $800. I think on the wrist it’s very hard to tell it apart from gen
It’s not hard at all.
Things that should be moving are static, wheels in the wrong place.
“On the wrist” will only not be visible if the person wearing it never gets a compliment and consequently has to show the watch. Imagine getting a compliment and tucking it in the coats pocket for the rest of the evening, how awkward is that ? Or having to say it’s a rep.
Worse, not knowing if they know or not.
Problem with RMs in particular, people do try to pass them for gen. The desperation of acceptance and brute force status.
The other day this amazing investor was wearing a Daytona Le Mans near me, and I by instinct just asked. Without hesitation he took it from his wrist and gave it to me, in the sun the perfect white gold shade. The amazing sunburst dial.
And with no more than 150 grams in weight being kind. So to the investor who did that in the UK last week, (who is probably/potentially an RWI supporter as no way that watch was not wrapped) wanted me to think the watch was genuine.
My point being key tells are a barrier for a reason.!
The RM must move in a certain way, and doesn’t!
Immediately giving your credibility away and only making success with people that won’t make a difference anyway.
