i know some of the factory nails are bad but damn, this is the worst i've seen. someone call a cheese factory.
LOL I have noticed this too and grossed me out.
Anyone has an idea which version this is or did anyone pull the plug on the 'custom one' from Puretime?

It's the "V2." The same case as the original "flat" one posted in this thread. Has the extra pointless/non-functional escape wheel and lacks the bronze gears that were in the "V1." Basically, it's the flat case rather than the recently shown more ergonomic/curved/closer to gen case.
I put "V2" in parentheses since it's silly to call separate small-batch runs with minimal changes different versions, yet that's the nomenclature that seems to be clearest and most widely adopted in this thread.
I am really liking the "V3" curved case, but I just hope ZF (or anyone) does a truly updated movement with a functioning gear next to the minute/hour hands and removes the non-functional extra escape wheel.
No sense, I feel we are like on the stage of the first BBR that had movements that resembled the gen but were not clones, I'm sure a real clone will come in the future, and that might be worth this price point, but this movement is a no for me.
