Same thing I bought a rep from somewhere else and while it's not great quality it's ok but I want better, that's how I found this site. Doing lots of research and questions before I take the plunge as you obviously have to spend quite a bit of money, well to me it is, to get a good rep that will last a long time.

Had the same experience. Found perfectwatches.cn online, then proceeded to research. Found good reviews so proceeded to make my first order. But something just didn't feel right, so continued searching... then landed on RWI and realized that the review site was fake - set up by the same shady dealers. Luckily was able to cancel my order. RWI saved me 300 bucks. As a newbie, it's not immediately obvious that these dealers actually go to those lengths to fool you nor that there is so much information on reps as found here on RWI.
I bought one watch from there when I first started this hobby couple years ago... Y'all should see the horrible quality on the "Swiss made" Rolex lol
Just wanted to post here as I too was nearly screwed over by them. I was literally just about to order two Breitling reps from there when I found this site and thread.

Interestingly I flirted with perfectwatches.cn for over a month and read what I thought was a legit website review of them (watchreport.co), I started to get suspicious when they continually praised pw while slagging off all other watch sites. They did say that PrimeTime.watch was a decent alternative to PW so I checked them out and that's where I came across the RWI site.
I made the mistake of using this site to buy my first watch. I realized in hindsight that i paid far too much. It was a Franck Muller. It clouds up very easily. I took the back off it and discovered that it was missing two screws and had a movement in it which was engraved with "Roger Dubois". My thought is that these watches are made of bits and pieces. One of the red flags with this site is that they do not list any details about the watch movements, and when you ask about those details, they are unable or unwilling to provide details as to the kind of movement., e.g. They will say it has an "automatic sweeping movement".
Lol it is as good as ALiExpress dealers "Yes, it has the Asian movement" response after asking a detailed enough question.
I too looked at PW before I found this wonderful place, so glad I did not pull the trigger there. Thank you again RWI.
I just ordered a watch from them last night. Is it hard to get them to cancel an order? I emailed them earlier tonight asking to cancel my order and haven't received a response. I will give them a call tomorrow. I hope they don't give me any trouble.
Despite the criticism of some, I found your first post helpful. I too ALMOST made the same mistake you did, but when I saw that they offered such deep discounts based on paying with ways in which getting your money back would be impossible, I was skeptical. Sorry this happened to you, but education is always expensive. Best of luck on the next go, mate!
I cancelled my order from them. The rep told me it would be refunded within 7-10 days, but so far I still have the charge on my account. I hope i don't have a problem here.
