It's a quartz microstepper and it actually says Omega on the dial when you get one, they just can't advertise it. Some people got it on RWG and supposedly it's OK for 80$.

Subdial spacing is always an issue with the most common 1861 Speedmasters. No rep movement comes close. I don't know much about the newer Mk II and it's movement, but I'd imagine that accurately reproducing the sub spacing and the lumed tachymeter will be an obstacle. Super-rep probably won't happen due to difficulty and limited demand, but someone did post a link to a shitty quartz rep a while back.

Get the quartz version first to see if you REALLY like it. I'm glad I did...
