We don't delete accounts, go to your control panel, deselect anything about receiving emails and cease to use it.
Yo may wish to take the advise of your own username BTW.
You might want to slow down on the abuse to our moderators. All they are trying to do is help you with the situation.
Now if your messages were sent in a private message to the scammer then no one will be able to see them other then you and I do think you were told this a few times by two or three moderators already.
YOU can delete the conversation between the two you very easily by following a few little steps:
1. click on the envelope top right of the screen and a drop down screen will appear with " show all " click on it.
2. click on box with the conversation you were having with them.
3. at the top of the first message there will be edit, move, star, mark unread and leave. click on the leave button.
4. you now have two options to choose, one is to accept future messages and the second is to ignore future messages. think you can figure out which one to click
5. hit that beautiful bright orange LEAVE button and your messages are now gone and your personal information you sent will not be seen by anyone else.

I'm sorry, this is incorrect. This will only delete the conversation from your inbox, not the recipients. Think of it as like an email system.
His information wouldn't be seen by anyone else on the forum (other then the scammer he was dealing with) which I think is his major problem with his ranting and making a second account. Only him and the other person can see the PM's and I don't think he grasps that they are called private messages for a reason lol.
The other recipient who should be a former member by now for pulling a scam, his inbox will not be seen by anyone else since no member will be able to access it.
That's what I was getting at trailboss99 with deleting the PM's from his account.
Can you just delete and exterminate the OP? To tell a MOD to “‘fuck off” is a violation that should not be tolerated. One last thing. I’ve read this thread and still have not come across the name of the scammer so I can be on the alert. Mods, really appreciate all you do.

the guy who scammed you has been banned ( well that parts not a secret now)
but he cant even read his PMs now ,so unless he took a screenshot or copied it he cant even get to it .
