its my first bronze watch and i love it just as it is before patina starts darkening the case.
Is there any way slowing the "aging" process? I really love the original honey gold colour

You can always re-polish it periodically with a good quality metal polish to return it to it's original sheen and retard the patination with the application of a hard crystalline paste wax.

I had both versions, the v1 with the regular Bronze and then the Aluminium Bronze. I tried lemon juice with salt on both, but it only worked on the regular bronze. For some reason i was unable to remove the patina from the Aluminium bronze. But i never used anything made specially for patina so maybe there is stuff that works like you suggested.

Can't be cleaned away. I guess its patina? Not dirt for sure. Wonder if anyone else encountered this on their 5B.

Pretty sure it's tarnish (patina), I've got a little bit of it on my bezel as well where I've handled it- finger oils accelerate the oxidation.

The rotor just fell off my v1. I took it to the local watchsmith to fix up... The rotor on mine was branded too... Not sure what the difference with the v2 is..

I think it's the branded rotor and a slightly improved strap. My V2 rotor fell off too about a month ago. It was an easy self fix at home... used the ball-of-tape method to open the case back.

There is no difference. XF released 3 versions simultaneously, the top grade version with the new "in-house" XF2824-2 movement, a standard version with A2824, and a Miyota 9015 version.
The XF2824 is decorated and has the branded rotor and an Incabloc style shock jewel instead of the novodiac found in most Asian eta clones.
It seems that the top grade version is what some dealers are calling V2, but these have been available since the first day of release. I purchased mine from Angus immediately after his listing went up in June and I got the top grade version (V2).
