Which crystal is for the 116655 yacht master? I think i was sold the wrong crystal as the gasket is a little thick and the xtal sits a little high in the watch...?

so I have the right one , pretty tight fit on the ARF 116655 ... of course I’m not sticking a gen XTAL into a gen case so get that...

I was told that the "v3" in the part number of the gen crystal for the 116655 corresponds to a smallest size gasket, or 2.3mm. Not 100% sure though. Hoping someone here more experienced than I can confirm.

So ive been getting alot of pms lately from you guys asking can i use any xtal thats 40mm with ar and lec in a sub or a ym etc etc. You can but they are incorrect and will reflect the minute ticks from the dial in the xtal and look ugly.due the the different bevel on the edges and the diffent thickness of the different xtals.so here a little guide i just knocked up for some of the most popular rolex watches and the correct xtals you need for each

116610 sub c = b25-295-c12-c1

116710 gmt2 =b25-295-car-c1

116622 ym =b25-295-car-v3-c1

114060 nd sub =b25-295/3-c1

216570 exp2 42mm =b25-318-c-v3-c1

116300 datejust2 =b25-318-c2-c1

16600 sd =b25-285-c1

16610 sub =b25-295-c2-c4

116509 daytona =b25-295-5-v2-c1

116300 datejust2 =b25-318-c2-c1

smoke I have a ARF 3135 converted to a no date with gen dial, hands, and bezel insert. Is the gen crystal that much different besides the date magnification? quality? AR?

No date gen xtal vs rep dial with Cyclops removed is not much diffent. So I would not bother with a gen no date xtal

Can you please clear my confusion. Is a Genuine 16610 crystal gasket same as the gasket for Daytona as they all are C1 which I thought refers to the gasket height?
