In the end I used a cousins gasket.

While I appreciate that I was one of the originals to swap the crystal. The original came with a stark white gasket. See my post HERE

I just got my new v9 and I don't see the milky ring so I would assume at some point they switched gaskets, I haven't had a chance to take the new ones apart yet.

I believe @xZeroCoolx mentioned in post #1,120 that they may have updated the gasket at first glance. Not confirmed yet

Most reps in the tier above $250 have sapphire casebacks.
I’ve tested OF tag carrera, ZF vc 4500v, APSF 15500, RSF iwc port, XF tag chrono and a few more

Yeah I guess I just always assume that they cut corners wherever possible. Maybe that’s true in certain circumstances. But not high end reps. They know that we know what they’re up to lol.
