Thats bloody unlucky sharrkey, it could have come anytime in 4 weeks but it arrives 45 minutes after youve left for the week!

Mine has'nt been delivered and still no change on EMS or parcel force tracking. I hope qinetiq is right and it just hasnt been scanned and arrives soon.

Still no change mate. I think im gonna give it till after the weekend and if still no change speak to lay. Given that everyone else seems to be seeing movement now I am concerned. I know like you said there may be an issue with it not being scanned etc which is why I think ill wait till next week.

Hi guys. Total newbiew here. I also ordered a PAM 288 from Lay and he was kind enough to send me the pictures. It looks awesome. What concerns me is that the crown seems to be a long way from the watch. Have a look please and tell me what you think before I tell him it's ok to ship it.

Hi Theo,
I've read loads and loads of people have had the same problem with the crown not screwing in fully. It would do no harm to ask lay to check, I also read on one of the other forums that the problem might actually be the o ring in the crown head, but I'm no expert.

Btw I've just checked the delivery status of the Rep jacket that I ordered and it's out for delivery today.

Oh and theorallye Ive read somewhere what sharkey said about it being the o ring too, someone said it can be resolved by just unscrewing and pushing it back in a few times or something. Id let you know when I get the watch but chances are you'll have yours before I do.

Sorry mate ?, was gonna do a small pic review when I got it. I bought it of a seller on eBay, north face summit series 2 in 1 gortex, I'd be surprised if it is Gortex. Can post link if ya want, was ordered on 30th dec, posted on the 4 th, and out for delivery today.

I can't comment on quality yet, and won't be able to till end of next week, can so far all has been excellent with the seller, answered all questions promptly, sent out tracking quickly, and posted in good time considering I bought just before the new year.

From the pics the sub dial @3 seems a little off, but that will prob be down to shipment, and just needs run and reset, as lays qc pics lined up fine. The crown does look not fully screwed in.

Cheers sharrkey. If the quality of the coats good thats a good price. My mate bought a north face jacket from ebay (for some reason he thought it would be genuine) but paid about 135 inc delivery for the gotham jacket. The seller even had the cheek to mark up the correct value etc so he had to pay customs on it! Hes currently trying to get his money back, I must say though its very good and very difficult to spot its not a genuine, he had to see it next to the gen before he was sure.

BTW nice watch! Bet your glad its finally made it, shame your not at home to wear it though. Mine still has'nt changed unfortunately.

Hi Alex, just wondering if you had any change in ur ems status?
Both myself and the wife have gen north face jackets, and she compared it with them last nite, and says it very very good quality, not sure how to check if real gore tex, I asked her to put some water on the sleeve, and it Beeds, no soak in.

Yes it does look outstanding, pity not on my wrist till next weekend. Btw don't you just love the individual serial nos.
