I hope the OP will update this so we can see it through and how it ended!

I definitely will. Have not heard from Angus or gotten tracking, however he must have a mountain of orders right now so I am not worried about that.

I've had the same bad experience with puretime as well.
Ordered 5 weeks ago, BEFORE the CNY and was assured the watch was in stock and would be shipped before the holiday...of course, it was never sent. My account has never been updated from the initial "payment confirmation" back in 3rd week of Jan.
"Talked" twice with "NIKKI" through online real time chat, and was again assured the watch would be sent out right after they returned from CNY...that was 2 (?3?) weeks ago and still nothing. It is a B01 Chronomat SS black with Roman #'s , so nothing in demand and nothing out of the ordinary....there are so many other dealers selling this exact watch for the same (or slightly lower) price....I guess I should have gone with them.

Oh well ,last purchase from them.

kfmcmahon, sorry about this, we had sent you the QC images but we have not got your reply yet so the watch was not being shipped. Please check your PM and email. I will send you again the QC images again and please approve it and we will ship immediately.

Yeah, I am always listening =)

Just employed a new staff to send out the QC images, I believe some of your have already received emails from her, Doris L.

Last night she works until 1am in the morning, she is new and just started, please forgive her for being a bit slow, it will be improved very soon.

The only dealer overseas that I have dealt with so far has been Angus. Both were trouble free. I'm sure no dealer is perfect and neither are we. All we can ask is that they make an honest attempt to rectify any issues. If they don't , RWI admins have setup up a set by step process to help us.

Seems like this thread transformed into customer communication with Angus. Let me put my 2 cents here. (I already wrote pretty much the same story in my review thread).

Sales and delivery part of my transaction with PT were simply brilliant. From order to delivery it took about 7 days. I could not ask for more.

However later I tried to source the replacement strap for watch that I already purchased. Emails sent through puretime website system and emails sent directly to [email protected] went unanswered.


Edited. Few minutes ago I got an email from Angus. He couldn't find the strap but he keeps looking. I assume that's why he didn't respond earlier.

And I saw you mentioned [email protected] also did not reply you and I did a search on my gmail and I found only one mail you sent me which is the mail you sent me yesterday, I think I replied immediately after seeing the mail.
Nikki did not inform me about your mail, I think she missed something, sorry about this.

I mean this was my first purchase with them and the watch looked fine..but being a noob i didn't even noticed that they sent me a old stock PAM 111J instead of my ordered and paid for PAM 111M..if I wasn't a member on here and read up on the information and looked at other's watch pics, I would have never known. Now I have emailed Puretime and they have said to send it back so the process has started.

But I concur with the OP in that any other person who does not belong to the rep community would assume they are getting what they ordered.

This rarely happens, we never tried to ship something different than the one the customers ordered to them. Sometimes it was the maker's mistakes, I ordered a PAM111M but the maker passed me the PAM111J but my people does not know too much about the difference and caused this problem.

I have very good quality high resolution images on my site so one can compare their QC pics with my site pics to see if I am shipping the correct items.

I'll chalk it up to beginner's bad luck then and hope you send me the correct watch in return. Just for future reference, you should have the QC department double check what is ordered since my initial QC pics had the wrong strap to begin with.
