Puretime is scamming me

I would avoid Puretime, if you're ordering a watch. I have ordered watches from other TDs and had no problems. But I ordered a ZF Tudor BB58 back in November from Puretime and the whole process has been a mess. I began noticing irregularities in the shipping tracking - every three days the watch would allegedly depart from a shipping partner's facility, then arrive three days later. And this went like clockwork for over a month. It became obvious to me this watch was not coming and I asked "Marie" for a refund. I was told to wait 3 more days, so I did. Then five more days. So I did. Finally I was told that they would give me a refund and "Marie" claimed they would process it that day. I wrote back and asked for proof of them sending me a refund. Two days later they wrote me to tell me their credit card processing isn't working and they cannot give me a refund.

Sorry for what happened. We did have a batch of shipments being held at US customs. We are not trying to ignore the responsibility but shipping company keeps asking us to wait because they are trying hard to working on getting them released. And the deadline they gave to us is to end of this month. We can either refund or reship the orders by then if nothing moves. However, the Credit card chanel for your payment was closed recently so the refund can't be done. They suggest if you can do a charge back to get the money back if you want a refund. Or you can wait for us to reship.

Then why lie and tell me you're going to process a refund "by the end of the day" and then fail to tell me it can't happen? I had to email you 2 days later to find out you could not refund it.

Bro relax…
Puretime is a TD here on the forum, they are not going to scam you for anything.
This is not Amazon, shipments can be stopped in customs and refunds can take some time, it's part of the game.

Telling someone you will process their refund "by the end of the day" and then requiring them to reach out to you two days later only to tell them that you cannot actually refund their money is not TD behavior. There's not much 'trust' for a group that lies to their customers.

Regardless of who I shop with, I tend to take it with a grain of salt when they say the money is returned within the day.. but sure, I get your point.
But again, I'm pretty sure they're not out to scam you. Give them some more time to sort it out.

That's because you have common sense.
What is common sense supposed to tell me? That when a TD says one thing, I shouldn't believe them? Where is the 'trust' there if the 'trusted' ones lie to their customers and make no efforts to make the situation right?

You obviously are not absorbing anything from this community. What have you been doing since 2018 ? If you spent some time here, you'd see that the TDs have hurdles to overcome from the process of sourcing your fake watch, to the point where they have to issue a refund. This isn't Amazon where you press a button and they jizz the refund all over you. Transactions overseas take time to process and reverse. A TD like Puretime who has been here for over a decade, has no interest nor gain in keeping your money. Maybe if you were a bit more polite and used that common sense that I mentioned, this would be taken care of and your panic attack would come to an end. Take a Zanax or something and go lay down.

You've been here since 2018 so you should know the correct way to deal with a matter like this.

File a help desk ticket. Get your issue resolved. You'll get your money back. And next time file the help desk ticket before resorting to posting this.

And, I won't say anything further, but, here's a rule of thumb for the replica game : sometimes shit happens. Life is not perfect. This goes true for the replica game. Does it suck? Yes. But it's just something we accept when playing this game.

Also, that thing with the tracking bouncing around isn't really PT's fault. That happens to packages sometimes, the mail system sometimes glitches and maybe because of a missing code or the package label got torn/obscured during transit, it goes bonkers. TDs don't control mail systems. It sucks, but it happens. I've had packages go missing in the US that weren't replica watches with the exact same glitch.

RIght. So, let's be clear here. I gave them over a month of "sir, kindly wait" and I did. I knew the watch was lost. They knew the watch was lost. But hey, why not? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Then they admit the watch is lost. So, I'm told they will issue a refund by the end of the day. When I don't get it and email them two days later, the story has changed. Now they cannot do that.

Nobody has said anything about Amazon or expecting anything immediately. I gave them ample time and was then told I'd have a refund, only to be told two days later they can't do it and I'm out of luck. That's not "TD" behavior.

I was perfectly fine until I was lied to. I know all this.

The TDs don't control the mail system - they do control the companies they ship with. Two other TDs got me watches well after I ordered the one from Puretime with no issue.

And others should be aware of Puretime's practices. That's why a public post is in order.

Oh FFS, once again someone has apparently forgotten he's buying illegal goods, not cut-price electronics from Wish. How the hell is the dealer supposed to do anything about shit stuck in customs? I think you maybe should find a new hobby, you don't have the patience for this one.
As for the CC processor, once again, you are buying contraband so of course shit happens with processors, this is not an issue restricted to PT, it happens to all the dealers at various times.

File a help desk ticket.
Pointless, there is nothing further to be done to speed this up any more than it is now.

It seems that people are missing the point that they lied. That's the issue. I kept being told "oh, wait three more days" here and there. I did so. It was never a problem until I was lied to.

Also, please feel free to delete my original post if this is not in keeping with the spirit of the forum. I had figured a public forum was, in some sense, an aid in keeping all parties accountable and not meant simply to praise no matter what. With all the caveats that come with buying a rep, which I understand, I am still surprised about having been lied to and led on for months. That does not seem normal, whereas other things (e.g. shipping delays) are understandable and part of this.

As I said, this hobby probably isn't for you.
Well, help me out here, if you don't mind. What's the implication of this? Is the hobby for people who are okay with being lied to? Is that the implication? I am genuinely asking because I'm pretty baffled by the responses.

You keep saying you were lied to. How old are you ? Do you work in the corporate world ? Seems like your feelings are hurt in some way shape or form.

I keep saying it because it's true. I was told that a refund was coming if I waited X more days. Then I was told it would be processed on a particular day. Two days later, when I asked for proof, I was told no refund was actually coming. What else would you call that? What would you response be?
