As a hobby musician who likes the AP RO I say: yes, we need it!
i’m sure there’s enough hype on this for ZF to do oneMan got my hopes up when I got a notification for this thread!!!
Still holding out hope!!!
Glad I'm not the only oneMan got my hopes up when I got a notification for this thread!!!

let’s go!!!I might know a guy. I will see where I can get and follow up towards the end of the week
I think in order to let a factory to start making one. The new movement must can share use in many other model , so that the factory will be willing to invest the money . Most likely they wouldnt clone a movement for just one watch.

I thought those 43mm versions share the 4308 caliber with the new Divers, I just saw it is a 4309 but haven’t studied the difference between those 2 yet.So I have some updated information on this, and as @Ac1013 said there are a couple of issues.
The first is that the new movement is only used in a couple of watches so far so it doesn't make a lot of sense to make a rep yet. AP will need to use the movement in more watches to make it worth it for the factories. We will have to wait until they start using it in more watches if they ever do....
The next issue is volume. Once there is a movement the factory wants an initial order of 300 watches to do a run. I know of at least 10 people that would commit but we would need another 290
So it's not a no but a couple of things would have to fall into place first.
i’m sure if a big factory gets onto the project i can definitely guarantee there would be 300 sales. So I have some updated information on this, and as @Ac1013 said there are a couple of issues.

One comes with date and one doesn’t. Both are basic 3 hand movements.I thought those 43mm versions share the 4308 caliber with the new Divers, I just saw it is a 4309 but haven’t studied the difference between those 2 yet.
Thanks Al, I guess then having the 4308 it should not be difficult to get the 4309.One comes with date and one doesn’t. Both are basic 3 hand movements.
I quote,Have to disagree with @legend on this one.
Also seen both in person and Im a huge fan of these dials and editions in general.
Yes, the contrast of the “rainbow” is more pronounced on HDR or edited pictures, but I loved them even IRL.
