The worst thing about PA is there is no customer service. Return or exchange is near impossible.

You get your watch, be happy. Or, file a credit card refund. Simple.

I wouldn't sweat about that kind of small amount of money.

Jut the wrong way to think about things regardless of how much you have and thats what this company is probably counting on at this price point.

Stuuf its its more trouble than its worth to complain or send back. So they get to send out crap and people will wear it.

Doh...

It's clear we have collectors on the forum with different ways to approach the hobby.... For some, price is the first priority. I doubt that "Happy Feet" bother them too much. For others, and I fall into this group, quality is "Job #1", and though I want the best deal, I'd rather have the best watch for a few bucks more... That's why PA doesn't interest me at all ...but for those who are interested only in price and are willing to gamble on "ify" quality, PA seems to have the best prices out there! Good Luck whatever you choose!

This thread was bound to happen the first time i saw price angel website. I wouldn't expect too much for a company that sells $30 watches... In fact, i don't expect anything so didnt even bother checking their website a 2nd time.

Noob(me) bought cheap watch from non-TD: Noob not happy
Noob join RWI, read a lot, choose TD, choose watch: Noob VERY happy.
Noob stick to TD.
Everybody has different views, true that you cannot compare a 70 USD watch to a 300USD one but, I wouldn't personally, willingly, knowingly "throw" 70 USD out of the window... I'll prefer wait for 4 x 70 and buy a decent replica, out of the box.
Thanks to the admins, mods and seasoned members. Thank you TDs.

you get what you pay. PA is good for people who can fix some issues on their own, like opening the case, fix crooked things or cleaning the glass from inside etc. i've seen very nice rep's out of the box, the white ex II for example. you can't beat the price on those worldwide, i guess.

thumbs up for kerry :)

I appreciate Kerry's approach. Priceangels is an unproblematic and reasonable online store for me. I bought from them 11 times and received more than 20 items till now and never had a problem that couldn't resolved. I got fixed my watch 1 time and the other time they paid a full refund of an unshipped item, nothing more. But people's expectations can be different. I don't need to wear a pricy perfect replica, an elegant and stable one is fine for this price range. It's ok to deal with them imo.

I bought the Pam from PA because the wait for the new V3 Pam 111 from a TD was driving me crazy!
Its a decent enough watch and my daughters boyfriend will have it when the 111 arrives as he really loves it.
Clearly many of PAs cheap watches are not worth the trouble but a few seem to be OK and sticking to those doesn't seem to be a bad purchase.

...... why not just go ahead and make it official and make them a trusted dealer anyway since so many members seem to like their prices.
Because PA do not fit the profile for a TD. They are not watch specialists, they can not give you well founded advice on what you are buying, they just sell you stuff cheap.

I've never bought a watch from PA but I've bought a ton of other stuff off them. I'm a gadget freak and they have so much stuff priced a little better than Deal Extreme. You order, it turns up and is generally what you paid for.

While I'm not rushing out to buy PA watches there are a lot here who will, witness the number of 39 dollar POs that Silix sells. While PA will never be a TD (and trust me, they won't and they know this) there may be other ways of bringing them in so we have some control over deals and I'm looking at it.

Am I correct in assuming you guys are buying stuff other than watches from them?

Yes, I have mostly other stuff but did buy a $34 white J12 that compares very well at arms length with $130 (shipped) black J12 from MR.

Of course you get what you pay for including low end watches from the TDs compared to top noob factory stuff.

Makes complete sense as usual :)
