Sure it does but this maker plans to use this bezel from v5 on the fc carbon unless we can correct this issue before it releases.

read post 1259 at RG on the bezel they plan to use and all others that follow it saying how its different. We know its different, we just want them to fix it like we know they can.

Yep its produced on the V5. Everything is DLC'd and it got a blue seconds hand



Unfortunately not, but it was nice to advise Angus during the process... He is very kind and helpfull!
So if it sells well then maybe in the future i may help him again

It's a special edition release from a company called Project X Designs, they do it to several other watches also.

It's not a release from AP but a modified watch by the above company (who modify the gen AP diver), the 'gen' (after modifiying) does have blue hand.

People don't seem to be thrilled about the quality of the DLC, and those who don't like it are saying it's "too bland."

Honestly it's just personal preference. The lack of enthusiasm has nothing to do with the flaws present in the watch, as in that regard there is barely anything to really nitpick. =):cheers:

I think its also that there are quite a few diver variants popping up. And there are a couple choices now for a black diver, plus another real ceramic diver coming soon.

I agree + the fact that this isn't a standard 'gen' AP release I think will put quite a lot off.

The ceramic diver is going to be bloody great!

- from project x's website, looks like it is based in UK, will it be done in the UK n shipped from UK? From a business point of view, does it make $$ sense? and how much are we paying?

- why version 4? was this PT's foresight?

they print "blackout" on the dials, so wonder if that is done on the original dial or they rep them?

My QC pics are in, and wow the watch does look great, nicely sunken bezel screws too. Now the wait for delivery begins!

Angus has 'said' there will only be 1 run of limited quantity (I would assume unless it sells really well) so an updated version is definately not guaranteed.

Also this watch isn't even a 'gen AP release' so the 5 being 1mm is really not an issue, trust me.
