Angus has 'said' there will only be 1 run of limited quantity (I would assume unless it sells really well) so an updated version is definately not guaranteed.

Also this watch isn't even a 'gen AP release' so the 5 being 1mm is really not an issue, trust me.

I agree, but even if it's not a "gen release", it's based on the Diver, so it's not a matter of different materials. The bezel numbers are important.
When we see the speed which they release new Diver every month, i can't stop thinking that it can be better to wait for the one that will not have notable flaws seeable in 2 sec.
There are super rep like some IWC or even some oak offshore, so it's possible to have rep that you can't spot without seeing the movement.
I really love the Project X, but it may be better to wait a super top Diver (even with swiss movement) and then make it customize.

For me the best ROO looks amazing and it's very hard to tell the difference without seeing the movement. Not the case with the Diver yet.

So one thing I've noticed sofar is the lume on the second had is on the light side only noticeable if I stare at it while it's going over the hour paddle
