7k is a good deal! Was it a 324 or 324/390 movement? Although I really do not know the difference between the two. It just happens I saw some with 324 and others with 324/390 engraving.

Well, I've heard everything. Some said it is reliable, while some said otherwise. Same as the 3kf 324sc, buff told me it is stable, while mine is like dancing all around...

Does anyone know if 315SC and 324 movements are interchangeable? I want to buy a 5117 case and stick a rep/modded 324 movement in if it’s possible.

As a dimension yes. But the 5711 used the 315 movement only in early 2006 and non of the rep dials match that period.
