Have think for my next Franken build, as my little rainbow is sold, for this combo, what do you think about
Green racing dial with gen diamonds index
The diamonds index set, baguette cut
For the bezel a brown ceramic like 116506 one
For hands, though a racing set will perhaps too agressive on this combo, maybe a white gold set will be better, it’s still a point I have to think about.
For strap, or a white rubber B or a green Everest one, but think the combo green/brown/white could be awesome, especially with this diamonds dial.
The rest will be more classic, gen crystal, gaskets, movement servicing and improved with gen hairspring, barrel and mainspring, chrono wheels, setting level, minutes wheel and seconds wheel of train wheels, wheels of auto wind module.
If you have some others suggestions, let me know

How would you go about sourcing a gen dial and bezel for the panda? Are there places besides ebay where the parts pop up?

The 116500 Ceramic Dial Daytonas have only been in limited production since 2016.
Genuine spare parts are more and more tightly controlled by Rolex, especially dials.
Even if you can find these parts, the real ones will be very expensive.
Agree, have seen one 116500 panda dial listed for 2500€, just crazy!! For the ceramic bezel it’s quit impossible to source because Rolex keep the old one when they changed it by the new one.

Yep, been trying to source a bezel (€1.5-2k), black 116520 dial (€2-2.5k) and hands (€800) to a reasonable price for a while now - practically impossible. To my mind, it’s not worth paying 1/3 of aftermarket price of a gen 116520 for these few parts. I’m seriously considering buying a noob 116500 black dial and put on the 116520. My question is, 2k on bezel or 2.5k on dial - which one is essential?

For whatever reason chrono24 is not working for me right now so I can’t link it, but I’m sure that I saw around 20 SL dials priced at around 1000€ and bezels at around 800€...
As i said, for whatever reason I can’t access chrono24 right now. If there is not black dial online, you can hit up banana split, he can get you all the parts for normal prices.
