Planing to buy first rep in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Any advise

Hello everybody,

I am going to visit Vietnam next week and intend to purchase my first replica there. I conducted some research and found that there are some stores that sell clean factory Rolex watches. Furthermore, I want to go to a store and see the replicas. The store that I've found has a web page. I checked GMT series and submariners. There are some nice watches. They have detailed pictures of the watches. (not the movement)

Prices are starting from 650 USD for clean factory watches. (prices are in Vietnamese Dong in the web page) (Prices are more expensive but I prefer to pay more not to deal the shipping and customs)

I am not sure if you can understand the quality from the pictures, I would greatly appreciate it if any experienced member could advise me to choose from these models.

Good luck! I'm surprised it's more expensive in Vietnam considering the average income is much lower and it's closer to China.

I would advice to famialize with the models you are interested in. There is enough info here to each
Model so you are able to identify it. (Clasp Code, rehaut etc.) This will prevent you from paying much money for a cheap watch.

Given that it’s impossible to know how legit this seller is, I’d suggest caution unless you really know what you’re looking at. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s common practice to offer customers low grade reps as the default option. Ripping off tourists is a reasonably well developed industry.

I'm just telling you to be very careful and if you HAVE to buy it there at least get a local friend to do the bidding.

I am not Asian. We are invited to a wedding and are going to go there anyway. I think it is a good idea to buy in-store. Paying more is okay if I can see and select the replicas, but I am not going to pay double price for sure. It is going to be an interesting experience. I'll share what happened.
