Pip/Pearl Replacement?

So the pearl from a what I believe is a 16610 was missing when I recieved it and I need some help on how to fix this.

I bought a replacement off ebay but they all come attached with the metal holder and mine only needs the pearl.

I tried to get the pearl off with attack and that ended up destroying the pearl and now I don't know what to do.

Should I just replace the bezel? I don't know what factory this watch is from and this rep is several years old from what I am told.

I’d replace the entire bezel insert, but you will need to tell us from which factory the watch originated. Not all of them will accept a gen spec insert.

That's a 116610, so ceramic insert. The pearl is replaceable assuming you can get the old pearl cup out without damaging the insert. You'll need to remove the insert from the bezel and see how the pearl is attached.

Rep pearls are just glued on and most often there is a hole through the insert. You can dip and brush some acetone (Goof off, nail polish remover, etc) onto the glue from the back and then just push the cup out gently with a toothpick or springbar tool tip.

Then just temporarily tape your new pearl on and glue it from the back.

Search on Ali Express or Ebay for 'Submariner pearl' to find others or look for inserts if you just want to replace the whole thing.

Alternately you can just mix up a tiny batch of powdered lume with some binder like epoxy and drop a blob into your empty cup and make your own new pearl.

I kind of gave up on this watch, its super old and ended up stabbing my myself trying to get the bezel off with a butter knife haha. I will just leave as is and wear it occasionally but will probably replace at some point. I stupid way overpaid on ebay trying to get a pip.
