Hello All,

I have had this Silix $29 PO for three weeks now. It keeps very good time (-8 sec/day) and feels good on the wrist. I like it and appreciate it for what it is and use it as a daily beater.

For $29 it is hard to beat a stainless steel automatic that keeps good time looks pretty good to boot.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but here goes:

Yes, greased it, put it on a nato and it' s my beach watch. Swimming no probs so far and for the sand and scratches...who cares for 29 bucks ;)

I really want to buy this watch - but:
- How does it feel? Does it have a little weight? Are the strap feeling good? Stiff?

Heavy for $29. Feels good on the wrist. Keeps good time. I've worn it every day for three weeks now and I have no complaints for the price.

People will notice the watch - often. But it's 45mm and this should be expected. I don't frequent crowds who could tell this from a gen so I'm happy with the purchase.

PS - excellent communication from Silix and VERY fast shipping to the USA.

Peace,
Ken

Does it still have the QoS dial on it? When I was first looking into buying one from Silix he was selling the ones with the regular PO case/hands but a QoS dial and (maybe?) a QoS caseback as well. I've no doubt that it runs well but that dial was just too much of a tell, even at like $40 shipped.

Looks good on the orange NATO. I might have to get back into PO's...I miss my black bezel on black NATO some days.

Great pics, though! I have this PO, and for the money (less of it), it's really not that bad. I've worn mine several times & it looks good on the 'ole wrist. The only glaring flaw I came across was in the clasp -- "Seamaster" was spelled with an "i:" "Seamasteri." Wear it well, my friend!

The $29 special from Silix is 45mm. It will require a 20mm strap or bracelet (20mm between the lugs).

Peace,
Ken
