I'm a bit late to this thread, but after coming across this watch a couple months ago and reading more into it, I am finding it harder to resist.
The only thing that concerns me is the durability of the strap. I will be getting from angus and he sells the watch with the rubber and the nylon strap.
AS I can see on this thread and some others the strap starts to tear quite soon. Is this an issue experienced by many? But some others also say that the strap is very good quality.

I just got a V2 from V6F as well and I gotta say, it's an amazing rep. I almost bought the Gen (found it on sale on Touch of Modern for $11K US) but i'm so glad i didn't pull the trigger on that. This rep has an amazing quality and sub $500 is a killer deal.

The only real tell as a rep for me is the lume. it looks painted on and is a bit too glossy, whereas the Gen lume doesn't bump up at all and has sort of a matte finish.
Let me know if anyone saw the gen in real life and noticed what i'm talking about here. I have never seen the gen in real life as this is a pretty rare Hublot watch.
If anyone is wearing a rep, i'd be able to pick it out right away due to the glossy finish of the lume.

with that said, I STILL love this watch and would def purchase the rep for $500 over gen for $11K given it wouldn't be my daily beater. great casual summer watch!

Hello,
I have bought the kevlar strap and it worth the money.
The watch fits better the wrist and I can wear it the hole week without
injury from the buckle.
The City strap is short, too.
