Great work on this thread Kenny... Its much appreciated mate.

Regarding the weight of the gen... I have read the Titanium is 215 and the Alinghi (Carbon) is 198.

As an aside for the guys that dont realise... the V3 has nothing whatsoever to do with the V2.. the V2 is made by the V6 factory whereas the V3 is made by the 312 factory.. but definitely different factories..

I spoke to Angus a while back about what to call it... as they were concerns it would be confusing... so unlike the Noob AP Diver V2 and then V3... the logical prefix :) The V3 has no relationship with the V2...

The V3 factory copied there version from the CGI images when the model was first introduced... hence the quality and other issues ..

I also thought I would post this pic of a gen as its one of only a few I have seen showing some colouration in the AR hue....

HublotDiver1.jpg

Now I aint suggesting the V2 is accurate... as the opacity is still pretty off as well as the AR hue but it does show even the gen can refract a bluey hue ;)

Thank you buddy :) glad you like it !

" I have read the Titanium is 215 and the Alinghi (Carbon) is 198."

Then the REP has got SAME WEIGHT LIKE GEN !!!!!!!

Exactly mate, the V3 is not from the same factory like V2 , so I think when they will realize updated version of V2 it will be called V4 :D

The V3 - Noobfactory said that they had gen in hands as well, but who knows... There is also V3 version from only CGI computerized version , the different one with engravings on case etc.

We are talking about V3 from noobfactory what should be similar to V2

And very nice picture mate ! I really like it :) hue is also visible, nice :)

I should have better detailed review soon GEN vs V2 vs V3 as I will get pictures from Marvellous Replica for the V3, so I will add them to this topic then.

Sorry guys... and Kenny...

I just read your post mate and realised I did put the replica weight down !!

I do remember reading a blog review of the gen and the guy had weighed it but after saying the above I wouldnt trust my memory now !! Weight of watches sort of passes right over my head....as its on my wrist no one else will know how much it weighs... so it not a sinker..

I will try and find it again...

Also the Noob factory don't make Hublots....

Sorry for the confusion guys... :)

Here is mine after sealing the HE escape valve, greasing all orings and sealing back :) Tried first to 5 BARs without movement and then all assembled :) I forgot to take picture when was on 5 Bars, so the picture is on 4 Bars when I was already releasing pressure to see leaking, but no leaking was visible :)

A DSSD that passed 3 BARs pressure testing, a member was diving 30 meters deep in ocean with no ISSUES ! So I think this Hublot Diver will be safe when I will be on holiday swimming with it :)
