I agree it's a nice smooth looking watch, but I don't think it has the oomph of the BB. If it ever does get done, and by the same maker as the BB, no doubt it'll be a good one at that. I'll still consider it as a want to have watch, but not before the BB.

Interest in a Rep Pelagos is High

I would be sooo ready to grab a high quality replica of the Pelagos!

I too had been contemplating the purchase of a Gen, but I have a difficult time throwing that kind of money into a Top grade ETA regardless of the top notch case build that comes with a Rolex/Tudor piece. Considering that I can get a used Rollie or Omega PO for the same price, I have since leaned away from getting a Gen Pelagos, but I would have no issue with spending $300 - $400 on a high 90% gen-like rep of one. Count me in for the interested crowd.
