Petition to Make a Tudor Pelagos

I am lusting for all things Tudor of late. Although the Tudor Pelagos has been a huge sale success for Rolex/Tudor, rep makers are not convinced that it will be a success for them.

Apparently the cost if producing the all titanium case and bracelet and ceramic bezel insert gives them pause for concern. Nevertheless, I would be will to pay up to $400.00 for a Super-Rep level copy of the Pelagos with a high quality clone movement. If you feel the same way, please "sign" this petition by responding to this thread to express you commitment to this rep. Hopefully, Noob, ZF, BP, H-Factory, V6 etc. will see the potential. I also entertained idea of buying gen. Cant convince myself again to spend that much on gens anymore since i discovered the dark side.

It's been a year now since the production for the BB was started and it's still not done. Even if the BB sells good and they decide to make the Pelagos you might not see one till 2015.
And up to $400 for a super-rep of that? :biglaugh: Have you seen the prices for the latest ZF reps ?

I'd love to have a Pelagos super rep. I wouldn't expect the rep clasp to function exactly like the gen, but it needs to look somewhat correct when on the wrist.

ThinkBachs point (made in several thread) is noted. Nevertheless, I WILL play this game because someone is going to make this rep. Angus already bought the watch for ZF but they won't commit to make it until they see how the TBB sells. I frankly don't understand this move. They can make one pam after another, but the pelagos they waiver on??? Frankly, I don't care who makes this watch or where I buy it from. If ZF doesn't have the balls to commit the money to make this watch, maybe noob, bp or H-factory will do it. Hell, I'll send this thread over to the cartel and see if they can use their sway with BP and H-Factory to get one out. ZF may just be getting into the high end rep game, but BP can crank out an excellent case set and decent (hopefully) bracelet in six months. Yeah, there may be some hair or finger prints on the dial and inside crystal, but nothing we can't fix. I want a Pelagos and don't have the $4,500 plus tax to go gen. I want to see 500 "signatures" on this thread, which is enough to usually buy out the initial batch. Come on guys... let's get this done!!!
