hi guys just got the QC pics for my pepsi ceramic sub. it looked so good in all other pictures i saw before i got my QC pics. first thing i noticed was the dodgy white paint for the numbers on the bezel. the white paint is overtshot on to the blue & red.

kind of strange i didnt recive the QC pics on my usual email address which was used for comunication through out the whole transaction, the pics were sent to an an old email address that i dont use anymore. aint had much luck with puretime lately, been a long time since i got a good one

its stated as a full red & blue ceramic bezel on pueretimes site, does anyone know if its actually ceramic i heard one half might be painted ,only because i would like to repaint the numbers and dont want to hurt the red and blue with chemicals if its only painted. any help on this topic would be much appreciated, thanks

I've the same one. But as far as I know there was never such a model available so it could easily be spotted as a rep. The Pepsi should have the narrow numbers not the wide one as on e.g. the green one or the Explorer. Moreover the rehaut is not aligned perfectly. And on mine the triangle on the 12 o'clock position of the bezel was also not aligned perfectly with the triangle on the dial. Be aware - the color of the ceramic bezel wears off (it is getting white).

But it's a nice watch. I wear it now and then. Mine is keeping good time.

I'd send it back. I had to do the same thing for my coke ceramic, but it's a very nice watch once you get it. Mine keeps great time too.

thanks for your help on this one. so the bezel isnt really coloured ceramic as stated. i guess if the colour is going to wear off it isnt much use to me lol as i bought it as a watch to wear to work and thinking it might be ceramic it wouldnt scratch so easy. although i do love the look of it i might send it back could get more value for my $300, its funny i havent recieved a decent watch from puretime for ages i wonder whats going on there maybe i just have shit luck hahahaha. did you guys get yours from puretime??

Personally I have never used them as alot of members here have complained about the quality... That being said it all depends on the watch you get and how often it's replicated

I really like the look of that Coke ceramic, but not if the paint on the bezel will wear or scratch away... Any good non-ceramic Coke GMTs?

The reps do not use genuine ceramic, its a much cheaper copy of ceramic and yes its painted on. It breaks, peels, cracks, and falls off so if you decide to get one becareful with it because it is not durable like a gen would be.

Are the single color ceramic rep inserts real ceramic? My black one seems quite durable so far. It seems like if you get this fantasy GMTthen you be careful knowing that you need to replace the inset every so often or switch it to black some day.

Maybe I'll just get a black ceramic insert for it. I wish the pepsi bezel was full ceramic, the QC pics of this watch on perfect clones website look great.

There's no gen version of the Pepsi or Coke, but I do have to admit that the Coke version I've seen does look better (quality wise). With that said, inserts can be replaced so if you're happy with the quality of the watch you can swap it out when you're ready.

So, the next question, correct hand stack or incorrect hand stack? This seems to be one of the biggest tells on the watch. I know that the CHS had some reliability issues when it came out. But, some more recent posts seem to say that those were cleared up. Anyone have any first hand experience with the CHS movements?

+1, one time i bought a submariner 116610LN ceramic bezel and it cracked after 2 days due to a fall ...

the hand stack is hardly the biggest tell on these watches. i dare you to ask anyone around you right now what a "hand stack" even is, let alone what the correct order on a Rolex gmt should be.

the biggest tell is the big shiny shitty insert with white painted incorrect font engravings screaming hello at you when you look at the watch.

black and blue might be more preferable but I doubt the insert on this is ceramic, maybe its aluminum,

just my 2 cents
