thanks for the visual wintersx866!

Looking at my blue V6F (from PT) with a loop, it's smooth like the 2nd shot.
maybe it was just a poor example they had?

Hey guys so this is the marker flaw I'm talking about. The blue is the V6F and the black is the ZF. Markers on the V6F are reallly grainy. These are from puretime btw

Here a close-up of my V6F. (Sorry no macro lens)
Looks smooth to me.

Is the V6F poor lume a myth from a bad online photo or do a lot of V6F owners actually have bad lume?

I just bought a ZF v2, anyway that's what the vendor said it was, I've been wearing it for 3 days now and I love it, it's a really solid watch, no issues so far, and the bezel turns smoothly. I'll post pictures and make a small review in a few days time.
But I love it so far!
Is yours 2 line or updated 2016 5 liner?
I went with v6f in blue and could not be happier

Can anyone help me to verify the QC photos received for a ZF v2 black Pelagos? (please send me a private message)

I would be very grateful.

Thank you very much in advance.

And there's a speck of dust on the 4 o'clock marker!
But I can't see it unless real close so...

Seems OK like you say you would have to look really close to notice it. Sure it can be fixed.

Ahhh, driving me mad. The more i read the thread the more i can`t decide which one to go for. Maybe we should have a summary post :)

Going to pull the trigger shortly, will be black faced. So, which one should i place my cash behind?

From experience with ZF IWCs their QC sucks bigtime. I'm almost certain you will have issues on the dial like dust/scratches and crooked markers unless they have vastly improved their assembly lines.

V6 QC has always been good and their assembly is not messy. Take a look at how many QC issues with the ZF IWCs

You may want to go through another TD if that's the case... I've had absolutely no problems with Sead (Supermirrors), even in regards to a zf iwc 500901 or a zf iwc 500908.

Nothing to do with the TD. Its the assembly and QC. Dealers dont make the watches they just resell them.

What I was referring to was that some TD sellers like Sead do a much better job of QCing their own products than other sellers do. It wouldn't hurt to try another seller if they have a better reputation for that.

I agree. On my ZF Sead insisted on sending QC pics, the first one he's sent them on in 5 years and over 40 watches. He's a dealer with low communication but a nose for a good watch.

I have a black V6F that is beautiful in all other ways, but the bezel action is really sloppy. Anything that can be done about it? What is the bezel assembly like? I don't want to remove the bezel as I'm not sure if it could break or if it is removable.

Can someone tell me what exactly is meant be 2-liner and 5-liner?

It`s the amount of written lines on the face of the watch. Some have two lines and some 5. Someone will have a better reply with the details i`m sure but that`s the basics.

**Edit**
There are a couple of photos in the thread above, one with the 2 lines (Black) and one with the 5 (Blue)

Thanks mate, got it. Never noticed this. Kinda like the 5 liner more now that I see both versions.
