Just received mine today! I put it on a distressed canvas strap and my initial impression is very positive. I'll do a proper review soon...

am i right to say that the 682 rep doesn't have a serial number on the caseback as well?

How's the thickness of the caseback? Similar to the 312 bc I thought this model was supposed to be thinner... any shots of it on the wrist from the side profile? Thanks!

Supposed to be thinner than what exactly? Thickness of the caseback is not the sole determinator as it is a total thickness (caseback + midcase + bezel).

So what exactly is stopped it from being considered a "super rep"

The movement, while very nice looking, isn't 1:1 with the gen P.9010 movement. That is the problem with reps having a display caseback, the details can be scrutinized, especially with the detailed automatic movements. I put it at the last part of my review, maybe you weren't able to read.

Hey guys. What do the experts think about the 7750 movement vs the 23j movement versions of the PAM682?

Reliability-wise, there is no difference between them. Visually though, the balance wheel location tips the scales in favor of the A7750 with the balance wheel @11, same as the gen. The one on the A23J movement is @6, making it an instant tell.

Thank you for this great review @mysterio. I've just ordered the xf v2 7750 from chazingtime. Will post my thoughts on it here as soon as it arrives.

The only thing that bothers me about the xf 682 is the bigger bezel. Like @lukko said in another thread the bezel seems to overhang the case.

This makes the watch and dial look bigger imo and ruins the aspect. This and also the thicker backcase.

Hope the bezel won't be a big issue in real life :)

Very excited about this 42mm release.

Is there a ZF version out already ?

@sogo, thanks for the excellent photos! Was there an official comparison of case thickness measurements done? Seems to be a lot of speculation over how thick the reps are compared to gen.
