Hi all, first post here. Been reading up and want to say thanks for the info. Lots of work being put in by individuals.
For this 360, is there any other comparison done on the case? I tried the search function but wasn't able to locate any.
Thanks Pete for all your post in PAM Section and especially the posts talking about sausage lume.
I have been always in disagreement and dissatisfied with rep sausage dials. Indeed I have no typical PAM sausage dial in my collection, no PAM 005 no PAM 000 and I have got only PAM 390 or Pam Boutique because I like the appearance of these watches with its “vintage†lume and overall look. But I really disagree with the structure of its lume application.
I was rather calm about this matter, until I saw a post and a pic from you (I don’t remember the concrete forum) with a comment talking about the no correct structure of the rep sausage dials. The pic was as follows:
Then I started again to be bothered with the rep sausage dials.
Making the PAM Boutiques Review I was again in contact with this matter and NOW you start again to remember me this annoying matter.
I think it would be interesting to create a specific thread about this interesting subject, because few people are aware of this matter about sausage lume application and many people think rep makers are very close copying these sausage dials. In this way people are accepting these incorrect dials as the better thing ever made and very gen-like.
As you know makers should change from the beginning the way to build a sausage dial, and they know about that. But we would need to “remember†them this matter in order to get good sausage dials in the future.
If you are willing to start and prepare such a thread I would be willing to help you, if necessary, editing pics, giving my opinions… etc
This would be an interesting thread in order to get correct sausage dials in the future.
Thanks for your kind cooperation
