Has anyone had to change/replace a lug screw on the 438 and notice it is not just shorter (as stated in the review) but also slightly smaller diameter threads? I was unable to replace mine (one bar was bent) with standard replacements from Panatime.
Did you try asking the TDs for some replacement screws? The design of the screwbar is probably different from other PAM lug screws because of the end cap at the other end of the lug.
Yes. Luckily I have some more parts and watches on order so he's throwing in a couple more sets of the screw bars from KW. For others, this watch is usually permanently used with the bracelet so frequent changes aren't required.
Hi guys sorry to ask if this question has been answered or is plain dumb,But is some of the movement screws on the gen supposed to be black or silver like the kw rep? Thanks
sorry to hijack the post, but i wonder if your 438/441 lever wobbles/loose when its in open position?
Anyone managed to get tough marks of the ceramic? My wife clashed her stainless watch against my 438 and it left a silver "scratch" on the bezel which I can't seem to remove.
As you know this is not a "scratch" (OK the quotation marks) this is a LINE of SS in the ceramic surface
I would try to remove it with an ink rubber eraser (be careful and try firstly on the back of the case)
Please share the results

I owe you a beer ALE. Bought a pen eraser and worked on it for a few minutes. It took the SS residue off the ceramic really well. Saves me $100 for a new bezel/crystal. Cheers!
