I tried to take quickly the different tone of the blue dial.

I confirm too the watch has two gaskets.

One near the movement, one for the case. It should be very good to swim with it and to use it as a tool watch.

You can still use this beauty as a 3 timezones watch:
9:40 in Paris
3:40AM in NY with the Yellow GMT hand
4:40PM in TKY by using the Yellow hand with the bezel

Good day all - thanks in advance for any answers to these questions - (Input from Mysterio greatly appreciated.. ) Does anyone know if the power reserve works? (Yes i am aware that it is a closed case back - I am curious if the function works.) Also - is the movement good as is, or does it need to be serviced for reliability? - Are there any obvious tells, or what would be glaringly obvious on this piece, as compared to genuine as it relates to QC acceptance?

Power reserve gauge does not work. Any movement is always going to be more reliable with a service. Can't say about the tells without seeing both the gen and rep in the same lighting conditions.

Thanks for the reply mysterio - Anything that stands out based upon pics of the original, compared to this rep version, or is there a better version that i should be aware of.? I have looked several times, but a novice looking at pics is worse than having 3 people in the kitchen that can't cook..

The only tell for me was the engraving on the CG.
REP and TM was too large and too low on the CG. But a change the CG from another maker and i will say visually everything is perfect imho.
