Most of the Qc pics that I'm seeing the crystal is what seems slightly raised, even mine are the same, I'm not that concerned as I have a crystal press. Suppose time will tell, I'll hopefully have mine by Monday will know better then.

let us know ! maybe ill ship u mine out :)

is the gen even raised?

Yes it seems that all crystal V3 are raised
We don't know if the gen is the same.

BUT WE REMAIN WAITING FOR INFO ABOUT CRYSTAL FLUSH OR RAISED IN PAM 111 N GEN !!

This matter was already noticed too in REP GEEK
http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=185245
See posts # 9.-10-12-13…

I'm going to put a thread in RG and RWG asking for this question in order to have more inputs

We will see

Hi all. I've received my QC pics from Toro and here they are. After viewing and comparing my QC pics with Thran's, i couldnt really tell the difference if the height of the crystal on mine is too highly raised or not. Any advices?

Also, I can't really tell if the CG has a gap between the case though as it was not taken in the angle. But I guess that's not really the issue. Getting kinda nervous after reading that the crystal was too high and I can't see if mine was normal or not! Lol!

Thanks for the tips and advices too! I really appreciate it!

Kindly see belowfor my attached QC pics from Toro.

No worries about the CG gap, in case you have it it will be impossible to notice it in real size
Your watch have "raised" Crystal like all V3. It is the same in gen??

Gen 111/177 are the same watch except for the material use for the case (SS vs Ti) and the fact that the crystal on the 111 is a bit raised while the one on the 177 is flush.
I'm not surprised to see that Crystal on those Noob 111v" raised as it is, seems correct to me.

As for the hands, they're not Pre-V, but pre-V style, meaning that they're use the same construction that the previous one (not Pre-V) but with a look that approach the Pre-V: the lume part that goes into the tip.

Thanks SpB for sharing and the draw

I didn't know it

Where do you know it from?

I have prepared a comparison pic to see the differences
The watch on the left side is a Toro V3 Noob seemingly with much raised
The watch on the right side is the gen N series in above post mentioned, seemin¡gly few raised
Indicated by black arrow you can see few difference
Indicated by the orange arrow seemingly there is more difference. But likely it is due to the reflection of the crystal in the upper side of the bezel.
Seeing this pic there is differences, but the issue seems not as big as previously discussed. Bear in mind this is the found GEN seemingly less raised.
We will wait for more inputs.
And comments about other aspects please !!

Manay thanks Sharrkey very useful pics (and nice!!)
Therefore you agree with me.
And now we have some explanation to this "issue" due to the reflections when the angle pic is changed. Isn't it ?
