Ah. I actually called up my local Panerai AD, and they said it comes with a tang. I am certain it comes with a tang, i think anyone who has a different buckle requested or changed to a different one. But buckle is such a small issue anyway, very easy to swap out and change.

No, not without the hands. Even then, the movement will unlikely be fully replicated as it is in-house. At most they can be borderline super reps which is still pretty good with the only tells in the movement.

I agree with bronica. No Super reps due to the movement. But we need to know the matter about the hands for a final evaluation, if modern it most likely would be Frist Class bordering Super rep status but if the hands are wrongly Pre-V it will be upgraded until Frist Class good level or medium level

The real tell are the hands and nobody gets that close to my wrist. Nor am I asked to remove my watch. When the correct hands comes out I may upgrade but until them it's ok with me.

Yeah, the hands are a very little issue. Easily interchangeable as well if you wanted to do it yourself. The watch looks awesome though!

I'll be interested to hear how you like the gold plating -- that is the only thing stopping me from picking this one up. Gold reps always seem to look more like copper than rose gold ...

Any updates on the rose gold? How is it holding up? I'd love to get a RG rep. I know the PAM 231 says it has "DLC-like processed gold plating." Is that gold plating better than whats used on this watch?
