I just saw pics on puretimes site..Looks nice but I did notice the buckle is still incorrect for this model....

The "jewels" on the V2 seems lighter than the V1 on the watch itself but on the V1/V2 plates comparison they were darker. Also the screw on the dagger seems to be like the V1 (engraved?), on the V2 the screw looks to be a real screw.

In relation to hands I'm not so sure at this moment. I thought gen had Pre-V hands, but at this moment I have doubts

We need to study this matter about the hands.

But KW seems to have changed to Pre-V





Regarding gen buckle I think is the usual PANERAI buckle

Yes PAM510 has modern hands, this is picture from their site:

KW always had Pre-V hands though i'm pretty sure, i don't think they changed it.

Also, regarding the buckle, isn't it the same as the KW one and correct? I don't see difference.

But, as we always say, we cannot trust pics from PANERAI catalogue, because many times PANERAI change some things
We need pics of real sold watches
As far as I know at this moment hands are modern as you say. But we need a definitive confirmation to inform to KW's Mehmet

Leaving aside the last link (maybe it is due to a change of hands in a repair or something like that) and following all your links and the links I have consulted, all gens PAM 510 and 511 are fitted with modern hands

Therefore, I think the situation is as follow:

- Gen PAM 510 & 511 are fitted with modern hands
- KW first versions V1 of PAM 510 and 511 were wrongly fitted with Pre-V type hands
- This KW current V2 version continues with Pre-V hands following the showed pics from KW
- But KW is saying that the hands are updated

We would need to confirm two things:

- Gen PAm 510 & 511 are really fitted with MODERN hands
- What are the hands for this new version V2 from KW

More inputs about above matters would be appreciated

We would need to inform KW as soon as possible
