Any more thoughts on the 23J vs 7750 in this watch? I understand the review was based on the 7750.

I've done some research that pretty much reflects what's been said here. 7750 is difficult to service, and the 23j is cheap enough you could just replace the movement if necessary. Anything beyond that seems to be personal preference. Just wondering if there's anything about this specific watch that would favor one movement over the other.

None. It would be a purely personal choice. Aesthetic wise, it wouldn't matter necause of the closed caseback. If the 23J, being a later release, has a titanium and numbered caseback, then it would be reason enough to choose it over the 7750 version, which has a prototype caseback (no serial) made of stainless steel.

When I ordered mine, there was no choice, only the 7750 version. So I must to say, this is the most accurate mechanical watch I ever owned. I have more than 20 watches, lot of gen, but this one is runs COSC like. Fast 2 seconds a week. No joke.

One last question between the movements. Should I expect any difference in noises either ticking or rotor spinning? My first rep (homage) came in for my wife, a 42mm Parnis Marina Militare and the rotor is just about loud enough to make it unwearable.

It's a luck of the draw with these movements. However, more often than not, the rotor isn't loud enough that you'd need to have it lubricated/serviced.

You can hear the rotor if it's very close to your ears....

I hope Polonus you still know: „Polak, Wegier, dwa bratanki, i do szabli, i do szklanki, oba zuchy, oba zwawi, niech im pan bóg blogoslawi!†:)

Of course I know :) confirmed it is true, few times. :)

Chazingtime have this on their site.

http://chazingtime.com/product/pam-661-carbotech-v6f-best-edition-asso-leather-strap-p9010-a23j/

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct version? not sure the movement matches.

Many thanks.

Correctness is a relative term when it comes to reps. The A7750 decorated version is "correct" as the balance wheel is in the same location @11 as the gen P.9010. The A23J (or Seagul ST2555) decorated one has the balance wheel @6, so it's not "correct". However, it's a closed caseback so from the visual point of view, it doesn't matter. ;)

Yes, the version is same, outer. The movement is not 7750, as I know, this is the only difference. I have very good experience with Chazingtime.
