The current batch of 089 needs to be sold before 089G will be produced. Not too long wait
You need to take into account that the F and G series watches have a different dial - the L-SM-L position is completely different. As others have already confirmed, The E series Gen dial has a LSML placement very close to the lower edge - this is probably why OP changed it on the subsequent F and G series?
For me the dial is more important than lug differences, as you look at it all of the time? And so is the side elevation of the CG on the wrist.
Who knows about micro lug differences anyhow - unless you really care to do the excellent analysis that you have undertaken.
So, yet again, as is to be expected, we have another 'Catch 22' position?

My vote goes for an E serial (due to LSML dial placement) and I am going to try a Sead A-F series, Ti CG installation, which should improve it a little.
