I don't know why. But its wheight impressed me the same as the quality
FROZEN HALO
The cyclops in this watch, and other PAMs, is a separate lens glued under the crystal.
The gen cyclops gets the edges of its contour carefully polished and you almost cannot see this contour (just a clean and subtle line).
The rep cyclops is not polished and, therefore, you can see a withish edge contour in the cyclops just like a FROZEN HALO. This is how we are calling this flaw.
It is clear now?

Thanks Ale, I have looked closely at mine and haven't noticed that big of a difference from the Gen cyclops. I'd be curious to see if yours is more pronounced.
Completely agreed, its much more heavy compared to Noob 360.
First time it arrived, the bracelet have some squeaky sound, but after I baby oiled it, the sound has gone and it feels smooth now.
The frozen halo annoys me, but I think there's nothing we can do about it, can't we? But still, for the price, its a very good deal I think.
I've just scratched the bezel quite deep....can the cape cod cloth fix it?

im in the process of getting one from toro an O series now but the cyclops has a blue tint to it. he says thats how the gen is. I havent seen any one mention this in 299k or 299n reviews. does the blue tint on the date mag cyclops exist?

I think O-series has a very improved cyclops, maybe a bit of blue hue but nothing important and maybe the gen is the same.

Is cyclop on 299K good as like 0880? because the cyclop on 088O is very good, the halo ring edge is very thin.
And I thought their crystals are the same batch,
hope 299K is the same just like 088O then it's is really near perfect?

PAM 299K crystal was already good enough, as you can see on the pic.
I'm sure PAM 088 crystal is improved, because PAM 088 and PAM 104 O-series crystal cyclops is very clean.
Anyway, if you order a PAM 299K most likely you will receive a PAM 299 O-series which will be fitted with the same new crystal of PAM 088 and 104 O-sereis
PAM 299 O-series is not announced by the dealers but is already in the market.
Of course the dial is different, like the N-sereis from H maker (it is the PAM 104 dial)

Hi, Jhericurls, I think these dusts maybe on outside the glass, you can ask the dealer to confirm this, and you should check on the hands have any flaws, many these silver hands have minor jagged edge or tiny scratches, dust on it, but only can spot in the reflected light. The rest of this watch look good.

Puretime have been great. They must of cleaned the glass and resent over new pics the following day. I've accepted and the watch is winging it's way to me now.

Do all new noob k series have the newer o series crystal w/cyclops ?
And between the noob k and h-factory o Is the noob better quality in the construction or are they both on par?

K-series should have "old" crystals (mine is like that)
O-series has "new" improved crystal
If you ask dealer fro Noob K-series , most likely, he get a O-series for you
Noob case and CG are better than H maker, the rest is very similar

I bought the Updated O Series, and the cyclops still has a small bit of halo'ing. going to send it in for a re-glue when I do my movement swap in it, and see how I make out.. I should get it back in jan, ill post pictures then.
Hey guys, I'm about to put an order on one of these as my first rep and browsing the dealer pics I see a difference in finishes of the CG pin. Is it just the angle or lighting or could they really be different?
